Our Story
With more than five decades of collective expertise in the music publishing industry, Co-Presidents of LEMP; Greg Sowders & Marc Wilson boast numerous chart-topping hits, billions of streams, and a track record of fostering and guiding songwriters and artists to become successful hitmakers across various genres.
Long time colleagues and friends at Warner Chappell Music, Greg & Marc had a vision to create a publishing company that catered to a deeper creative and cultured experience, deals that were tailor made for the specific songwriter and various partners for administration, sync and wellness.
Marc Wilson stands as a powerful, creative force in the music business. An industry veteran, his ability for identifying talent early, along with his artist development skills uniquely positions him to co-lead this “next-gen” home for music creators. Marc has spearheaded numerous high-profile publishing acquisitions spanning all genres, including Pop, Rock and EDM, resulting in multiple chart topping hits. Armed with nearly two decades of experience, Marc remains dedicated to nurturing emerging songwriters and artists to help them build long-term artistically relevant, hit-making careers.
At Warner Chappell Music, Marc was a Senior Creative Executive in A&R. He had a 13 year tenure where he signed and helped build a multi-genre roster that included Lizzo, Steve Aoki, Alec Benjamin, Ian Kirkpatrick, Tim Pagnotta, Sean Douglas, Joe Kirkland, Tushar Apte, Sam DeRosa, Buzz, Judah & The Lion, Sir Sly and Shaun Lopez (Crosses).
Marc also manages songwriters and producers, constantly bringing new talent into the songwriter community. He's helped break songwriters such as Cate Downey & Zoë Moss.
Greg Sowders is the Senior Vice President for Warner Chappell Music and Co-President of Limited Edition Music Publishing. During his 30+ years at Warner Chappell, Greg has played a key role in identifying and developing its leading frontline and catalog rosters. Sowders joined Warner Chappell in 1991, eventually serving as co-head of A&R. He has signed and worked with artists and writers including Twenty One Pilots, Greta Van Fleet, Travis Barker, jxdn, Paramore, Tyler Childers, Black Crowes, Green Day, Billy Corgan, Portugal the Man, Deftones, All Time Low, Bishop Briggs, Linda Lindas, Orville Peck, Nickelback, Slash, Disturbed, Kaleo, Kflay, Michael Buble, Nate Ruess, Katy Perry, Stone Temple Pilots, 311, Megadeth, The Head and the Heart and Carlos de La Garza, among many others.
Sowders began his musical career in 1981 as co-founder and drummer for the ground breaking Los Angeles alt.country pioneers, The Long Ryders and continues to record and perform with them to this day.
